Drug Addiction

Due to Drug Addiction – Children are moving in the Wrong Direction, they need to talk to their near ones but they are not able to. Teens say that when it comes to substances, their thinking power is lost. They need good and influential guidance.
Their parents are the most major influence. That’s why it’s important to talk — and listen — to your child. So, Communication is the most essential element that should exist between parents and children.

Negative Effects
The use of nicotine, alcohol, and drugs affect short- and long-term health outcomes. Some of these health outcomes can be serious, and possibly irreversible.
Drug use can lead to risky or out of character behavior.
Communicate that you do not want your teen to use substances. Talk about the short- and long-term effects drugs and alcohol can have on their mental and physical health, safety, and ability to make good decisions.

Best way to Overcome this problem-
Communication between parent and child about the long-term hazards and loss to the life of the child.
Telling the child that experimenting with drugs or alcohol during this time is risky for their still-developing brain.
Blocks of time to talk can be made. For Example,  After dinner, before bed, before school, or on the way to or from school and extracurricular activities can work well.
Taking the child for a walk or going for a drive together can relieve the child and change the mood and atmosphere that exists.
This will help in better eye contact between the teen and the parents.  Children won’t feel like they are under a microscope.
Good and clear communication will help in eliminating boundaries that exist between them and no boundaries will help in a healthy and safe future for the children and the happiness of the parents.
