TOURISM in COVID

Are you scouting out for some beautiful tourist attractions to pay a visit and give some time
off to yourself amidst all these mayhem. Manali is definitely one among them. The Jogini
waterfalls, The Rahala falls, The Beas river, The Solang Valley and many such places in
Manali are worth seeing. From trekking to paragliding to mountain biking to cable cars, all at
one place. And the cherry on the cake are low priced hotels.
These days, your heart might also be tempted to explore these things on seeing people
posting their pictures from the Manali tour, while you are caught in the four walls of your
home. Timings matter in all the spheres of our lives and the question still remains the same, ‘
Is it the right time to move out of your home and be a part of public gatherings?’. Different
minds will have diverse opinions on this.
We all are well aware about the fact that our country has lately been hit by the second wave
of Covid-19 pandemic and we are still recovering. India has recorded over 78.6 lakh cases
from last April to May. While the rise in cases was sharp that time, we should be more
vigilant now, only then can we fight the pandemic. Many states like Delhi were completely
locked down with strict protocol.
There have been relaxations in certain states due to obvious reasons but are we licenced to
be so careless? We are pretty much aware about the threat of the third wave, then how can
we be so insensitive?
As we all know, the second wave has affected our lives extremely much more than the first
wave and experts are clearly advising us to stay home and take proper precautions to
prevent the third wave.
During these pathetic times, we should focus and take care of our mental health. Many
philosophers day in and out are recommending us to perform yoga meditation on a daily
and priority basis. We are constantly being suggested to remain indoors unless very urgent.
We must try to remain home as far as possible and even if we are visiting places that are
crowded, we must make sure to wear a mask, keep sanitizing ourselves and follow social
distance. Moreover, get vaccinated with both doses as soon as possible.
By our past experiences, it’s better to learn for a bright future. Don’t be a covidiot! Be
sensitive and remain home and remain safe.
The situation is extremely grim, we request you to kindly take very good care of yourselves
and of the ones in and around you.
